    P = (a,b)  and  Q = (c,d),


then the mid point is  M = (%28a%2Bc%29%2F2,%28b%2Bd%29%2F2).


So , the simple rule works:


    - x-coordinate of the mid point is arithmetic mean of the x-coordinates of endpoints

    - and similar rule works for y-coordinate.
