You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Exactly what trouble do you have with this?

y-k=m%28x-k%29
This has slope m and contains point (h,k).

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
m= - 1/2

Plug value of the slope and point ( 2 , 1
Y = m x + b
1.00 = -1 + b
b= 1.00 - -1
b= 2
So the equation will be
Y = - 1/2 x 2

.

When a slope "m" and a point (a,b) are given, then the point-slope form equation is

    y - b = m*(x-a).

In your case, the point-slope equation is

    y - 1 = %28-1%2F2%29%2A%28x-2%29.      ANSWER
