The slope of a line going through (x1, y1) and (x2, y2) is given by
(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)
Substitute the x, y values from the 2 points given. You get
Slope = %28-4.4+-+-9.4%29%2F%281.3+-+6.3%29
= 5+%2F+-5+=+-1
Slope is -1
