You can put this solution on YOUR website!

2%2F%283x%29%2B4%2F3=2%2F3 ...in example like this, you need to solve for x; so, isolate it on one side
2%2F%283x%29%2B4%2F3-4%2F3=2%2F3-4%2F3
2%2F%283x%29=2%2F3-4%2F3...simplify right side
2%2F%283x%29=%282-4%29%2F3
2%2F%283x%29=-2%2F3....cross multiply
2%2A3=-2%2A3x
6=-6x
6%2F-6=x
x=-1

5%282x-1%29%2B3=4x%2B9%2B1+.....first multiply (on the left side)
10x-5%2B3=4x%2B10+
10x-2=4x%2B10+
10x-2%2B2=4x%2B10%2B2+
10x=4x%2B12+
10x-4x=4x-4x%2B12+
10x-4x=12+
6x=12+
x=12%2F6+
x=2+

.
This forum works in this way:

     You post your problem (formulated clearly, accurately and correctly) - and then the tutors explain you how to solve your problem.

%282%2F3%29%2Ax + %284%2F3%29%2Ax = 2%2F3

Multiply both sides (all the terms) of the equation by 3. You will get

2x + 4x = 2.

Combine like terms:

6x = 2

Divide both sides by 6:

x = 2%2F6 = 1%2F3.

Solved.
