You can put this solution on YOUR website!
First find the slope of the line: m=%280--2%29%2F%286-0%29=1%2F3

Next choose one set of points to obtain the y-intercept:

-2=0%2A%281%2F3%29%2Bb%2C+so+b=-2

So the slope of the line is 1%2F3 and the y-intercept is b=-2

The slope-intercept form of the equation is y=%281%2F3%29x-2 (Answer)
