Question 1112787: Hi,
Please help me to solve step-by-step on these questions.
Thank you very much.
11. Simplify the following radical expression by using the Multiplication Property of Radicals discussed in the text in Section 8.3 :
Square root of 160^7y^6z^3
12. Simplify each term in the following expression using the Multiplication Property of Radicals. Then add and subtract the like radicals as shown in the example from Section 8.4 in the text.
√150 - √54 + 3 √24

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Square root of 160^7y^6z^3
sqrt (160) is sqrt(16)*sqrt(10)=4 sqrt (10)
of y^6 is y^3
of z^3 is z^(3/2)=z* sqrt(z)
bring together the radicals and the rationals
4*y^3*z*sqrt(10*z)
-----
This is sqrt(25*6)+sqrt(9*6)+3*2 sqrt(6)
Or 5 sqrt(6)-3 sqrt(6)+6 sqrt (6)
=8 sqrt (6), since the radical terms are alike.
