You can put this solution on YOUR website!

slope is 0.8 and which passes through point (-3,1):
y= mx+c
1=0.8(-3)+c
1=-2.4+c
c=+3.4
Therefore the equation is
y = 0.8x +3.4

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
For a line whose slope is 0.8 and which passes through point (-3,1):
Write the equation of this line in slope-intercept form
----------
m = 0.8
Form:: y = mx + b
Solve for "b"::
1 = 0.8*(-3) + b
b = 3.4
-----
Ans: y = 0.8x + 3.4
