The area of a regular triangle equals

S = 3.R%5E2.cos(60°).sin(60°) = 3.R%5E2.1%2F2.sqrt%283%29%2F2 = 3sqrt%283%29%2F4R%5E2,

where  R  is the radius of the circumscribed circle.
