Question 1104463: I have a question.
I have been having trouble with standard form. The equation is Ax+By=C
I got a question saying find the standard form of (-6,-7) with a slope of -1. So I put it into to y-y1= m(x-x1) form and found x+y=1. I believes it's wrong help me

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Starting from point-slope form
y-%28-7%29=-1%28x-%28-6%29%29
-
y%2B7=-%28x%2B6%29
y%2B7=-x-6
y=-x-6-7
highlight%28y=-x-13%29, which is slope-intercept form.
y%2Bx=-x-13%2Bx
y%2Bx=-x%2Bx-13
highlight%28x%2By=-13%29, which is in standard form.
