You can put this solution on YOUR website!
point-slope form equation: y-%28-1%29=%285%2F6%29%28x-2%29

Put into Ax+By=C form:
y%2B1=%285%2F6%29%28x-2%29
6y%2B6=5%28x-2%29
6y%2B6=5x-10
5x-6y=6%2B10
5x-6y=16--------standard form

Find the slope,

Then use the point slope form,
+y-4=%285%2F6%29%28x-8%29+
.
.
6y-24=5x-40
+5x-6y=16+

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
slope is change in y/change in x
4-(-1)/*8-2)=5/6
point-slope form is y-y1=m(x-x1) m slope and (x1, y1) point
y+1=(5/6)(x-2)
y=(5/6)x-5/3-1
y=(5/6)x-8/3
multiply all by 6 to remove fractions
6y=5x-16
rewrite with positive x coefficient
5x-6y=16
both points fit.
