You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Help me determine the slope of the graph of the linear function f, given: f%283%29=-1, f%28-5%29=-1
equation of a line is:
f%28x%29=mx%2Bb
f%283%29=-1 means if x=3 that f%28x%29=-1, and that is a point (3,-1)
f%28-5%29=-1 -> that is a point (-5,-1)
as you can see, both points have same f%28x%29 value
if so, slope+m=0, and if a slope is 0, we have a horizontal line;f%28x%29=a
and, your line is
f%28x%29=-1
