After doing some research online, Ms.Davis finds another truck rental company, reliable rides. this company will allow a person to rent a moving truck for a flat rate of $1.00 per mile. There is no additional charge.

b = 1x
:
5+0.50x = 1x
5 = 0.50x flip it to get the variable on the left
0.50x = 5
x = 10
At 10 miles they both cost the same. Anything under 10 miles b is cheaper. Anything over 10 miles a is cheaper
