Depends on what you mean by "solutions". If you are referring to the number of elements in the domain of the function, then there are infinite solutions because the domain is all real numbers. On the other hand, if you are asking how many zeros exist for the polynomial function , then the answer is zero. There is no value of that will make . "Solutions" is a poor choice of words for this question.
