13x+44=24x
11x=44; x=4 medals.
There, the cost and revenue are both $96.
From 530 units, the cost is 13(530)+44, and the revenue is 530(24)
This is also 530(24)-530(13)-44
That is 530(11)-44=5830-44=$5786

24x-110=13x+44
11x=154
x=14 medals
