Therefore (x+9)/(x-4) >0
x cannot =4
x cannot = -9
look at all the intervals
x <-9. Here, the log will be positive (-/-).
x= -8. Here, the log will not exist(+/-)
x=5. Here the log will be positive.(+/+)
