You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Add the equations together to eliminate y.
2x-y%2Bx%2By=-3%2B12
3x=9
Solve for x.
Then use either equation to solve for y.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2x-y=3
x+y=12
add them and the y's disappear
3x=15
x=5
substitute in the second
5+y=12
y=7
(5,7)
Check with the other equaion
2(5)-7=3
