You can put this solution on YOUR website! I will assume that you meant 3x - 2y + 9 = 0.
Substituting the coordinates of the point into the equation, we get
3*1 - 2*6 + 9 =3 - 12 +9 = 0,
and so the point (1,6) is a point on the line.
