You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Which of the following equations describes a line that passes through the point (1, 5) and has a slope of 2?
A) Y= 2x-9
B) Y= 2x+9
C) Y= 2x+3
D) Y= 2x-3
============
All of them have a slope of 2.
---
You can do this 2 different ways.
1)
Use y-y1 = m*(x-x1) where m is the slope and (x1,y1) is the point.
-----
2)
Sub 1 for x in each equation and see if y = 5
