A cannonball was shot vertically into the air with an initial velocity of 880 ft/sec. Exactly one second after the cannon was fired, Mighty Mouse flew up to touch the bottom of the cannonball. He then immediately turned and flew back down to the touch the inside bottom of the cannon, then up to the cannonball, down into the cannon, and so on, until the cannonball fell back into the cannon's barrel.
A. What is total distance Mighty Mouse had flown when he was finally smashed by the cannonball into mouse-mush?

1. Find the length of the shadow of the second platform in feet and inches to the nearest inch.
My answer is : 5 feet 9 inches
2. A 5 foot 8 inch tall technician is standing on top of the second platform. Find the length of the
shadow the scaffold and technician cast in feet and inches to the nearest inch.
