Hi,
A is at (4,6)
B is at (-4,0)
D = sqrt+%28%28x%5B1%5D-x%5B2%5D%29%5E2%2B%28y%5B1%5D-y%5B2%5D%29%5E2%29%29
D = sqrt%288%5E2+%2B+6%5E2%29+=+sqrt%28100%29+=+10

the Distance Formula to determine the length of the line segment between point A(x1,y1) and point B(x2,y2)
d=sqrt%28%28x1-x2%29%5E2%2B%28y1-y2%29%5E2%29
Point A is at (4,6), so x1=4, y1=6
Point B is at (-4,0), so x2=-4, y2=0

Answer: 10 units
