a)How far is the base of the ladder reach?
b)How far up the wall does the ladder reach?
c)If the wall is 7 metres high, will a person 2 metres tall standing on the top of the ladder be able to see over the wall? Explain

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Draw a diagram.
Draw a vertical line representing the wall and a horizontal one representing the floor. Draw a diagonal line for the ladder.
Let h = height of ladder against wall
Let x = distance of foot of ladder from wall.
Mark on the diagram the top angle of 25degrees and the ladder of 6m
a. cos25 = h/6 --> h = 6cos25 --> h = 5.44m
b. sin25 = x/6 --> x = 6sin25 --> x = 2.54m
c. 2m tall person on top of the ladder, which rests at 5.44m above the ground will be able to see over the 7m wall.
