Question 1186395: A 10-inch-by-11-inch transparency sheet is placed on an overhead projector. If the projector enlarges 300%, what will be the lengths of the sides of the projection? How does the perimeter of the original transparency sheet compare to the perimeter of the projection?
For the lengths of the sides of the projection, I got 30 inches by 33 inches. But for the second part of the question, I’m not sure how it compares. Can someone please help me?

You can put this solution on YOUR website! .
They simply ask you to calculate the perimeter of the sheet and the perimeter of the projection, then compare these two numbers.
They want you notice that the ratio of perimeters is the same as the ratio of corresponding linear dimensions.
It is the goal of this assignment (!)
