x-coordinate remains the same;

y-coordinate becomes an opposite number (= changes the sign to the opposite).

So, the reflected point is (1,-3).

If a point's coordinates are (x, y), then reflecting it over the x-axis gives it new coordinates of (x, -y).


(1, 3) ==> (1, -3)
