====>  x = %287%2F8%29%2Ay  ====>  %287%2F8%29%2Ay+%2B+y+ = 30  ====>  7y + 8y = 240  ====>  15y = 240  ====>  y = 240%2F15 = 16.


Then x = %287%2F8%29%2Ay = %287%2F8%29%2A16 = 14.

Answer. The numbers are 14 and 16.
