Question 1012891: A trapezoid ABCD has an area of 25 sq units. Three of its coordinates are B(1,8), C(2,3) and D(-6,3). Find the coordinates of A. Answer by solver91311(24713) (Show Source):
The area of a trapezoid is given by the measure of the median times the measure of the height.
Since you didn't bother to specify which of the two defined line segments is a base of the trapezoid and which is one of the non-parallel sides, there are two answers to this question.
Let me know which line segment is which and I'll help you.
