You can put this solution on YOUR website! what is the solution of the equation 8^2x+1 = 4^1-x
**
8^(2x+1) = 4^(1-x)
8=2^3, 4=2^2
2^3^(2x+1) = 2^2^(1-x)
2^3(2x+1) = 2^2(1-x)
2^(6x+3)=2^(2-2x)
equate exponents with same base
6x+3=2-2x
8x=-1
x=-1/8
correct ans is c. above
