Question 36561This question is from textbook
: If +f%28x%29=%28x%2B1%29%5E%281%2F2%29+ with x greater than or equal to -1, find +f%5E-1%28x%29+ and state the domain and range.
On this one, I know the inverse is +x%5E2-1+ , but the domain and range have me stuck!!!
Thanks again,
Jamie

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You are right. f%5E-1%28x%29=x%5E2-1
The domain is the x-values while the range is the y-values.
The parabola has a vertex of (0,-1) and opens upward, so the range is y>=-1 while the domain is all real numbers.
