N%5E2%2BN-56=0
%28N%2B8%29%28N-7%29=0

N=-8, N=7

Checking -8

The additive inverse of -8 is 8.  It's square is 64.
The sum of -8 and 64 is 56.

The additive inverse of 7 is -7.  It's square is 49.
The sum of 7 and 49 is 56.
