You can put this solution on YOUR website! 1 is subtracted on the left side, so the inverse operation is adding 1
__ 5x=2x+9
2x is added on the right side, so the inverse operation is subtracting 2x
__ 3x=9
3 is multiplied on the left side, so the inverse operation is dividing by 3
__ x=3
8 is added on the right side, so the inverse operation is subtracting 8
__ 5x-9=2x
5x is added on the left side, so the inverse operation is subtracting 5x
__ -9=-3x
-3 is multiplied on the right side, so the inverse operation is dividing by -3
__ 3=x
