You can put this solution on YOUR website!
if m varies inversely as n when n=60, m=1.5, find m when n is 4.5

m1 * n1 = m2 * n2
1.5*60= m2*4.5
90 = 4.5m2
divide both sides of the equation by 4.5
m2 = 90 / 4.5
m2 = 20
So, m is 20.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
k, the variation constant
m=k%2Fn
-
1.5=k%2F60
k=1.5%2A60
k=90
highlight_green%28m=90%2Fn%29--------------now just use it for the question.
