You can put this solution on YOUR website!
.
Use elimination to solve each system of equations. I have to show all work and write the answer as an (x,y) ordered.
5x-2y=-10
3x+6y=66
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
5x - 2y = -10,    (1)
3x + 6y =  66.    (2)
Multiply equation (1) by 3 (both sides). You will get
15x - 6y = -30,   (1')
 3x + 6y =  66.   (2')
Add the equations (1') and (2'). By doing this way, you eliminate "y" and get a single equation for "x":
18x = 66 - 30,
18x = 36,
x = 36%2F18 = 2.
From this point please complete the solution on your own.
