Swap x and y and solve for y

multiply both sides by (y-4)
x(y-4) = y + 4
distribute x
xy - 4x = y + 4
add 4x to both sides, subtract y from both sides
xy - y = 4x + 4
factor out y
y(x-1) = 4x + 4
divide both sides by (x-1)
y = %284x%2B4%29%2F%28x-1%29
