THis is what I have done but not sure if it is correct:
3x-2/x-4=5 multiply both sides by (x-4)
3x-2=5x-20
18=2x
9=x

I cannot seem to get the picture graph up here however it is from Elementary and intermediate algebra (4th ed.). Please help I do not even know where to begin.
