Question 1121002: Hi, unfortunately the text of my previous question "inequalities/1121001" has been truncated. Here tthe full question: Hi, I need step by step solution for this inequality: log_3^(1/2)(x) -5log_3(x) <2 Solution should be x>1/9^(1/3). My Idea was to convert all to log_3 as follows: log_3(x)/log_3(3^(1/2) - log_3(x^5) < log_3(3^2) an then solve the arguments: x/3^(1/2) - x^5 <9 but I don't reach the given result. Can somebody be so kind and explain me where I do wrong? My best Thanks for Help and regards Romolo

Question 1121809: I have a problem with inequalities on a number line, write each solution as a single inequality involving absolute value which gives all possible values for the variable.
A.) Variable is b
Left to right on the number line, In brackets, the first point it 2.9, the middle point is 4.1, and the last point with closing brackets is 5.3.
Visually it looks like below:
<覧 [覧覧慾覧覧余覧>
....... 2.9 .......... 4.1 .......... 5.3 ......
I知 not sure what to be looking for here and I had another exercise with the answer (not needed to be solved just showing as an example)
The previous example was like this but with the line:
<覧 [覧覧慾覧覧余覧>
...... -3 ........ -2.6 ........ -2.2 .....
With the variable b and the answer was = | b+2.6 | less than or equal to 0.4
