38=30-2x+2

38=32-2x

38-32=-2x

6=-2x

6/(-2)=x

-3 = x

x = -3

So you are correct.

38=32-2x ********* You made a 2nd mistake that canceled your 1st mistake.
38 -32=6
6 divided by -2 = -3
i think its wrong
