Find the sum or difference. 9/20 - -3/16
Least common denominator (lcd) is 80
Rewrite each fraction with the lcd as its denominator.
[9*4/lcd]+[3*5/lcd]
Add the numerators and write that over the lcd
[36+15]/lcd
=51/80
