When we look at the questions we find that the fraction has 3 in the above equation.
So we multiply the above equation by 3, we get
(-1/3) * x * 3 < 5 * 3 + (2/3) * x * 3
-1 * x < 15 + 2x
- x < 15 + 2x
Now get the all “x” on one side and numbers on the other side, we get
-15 < 2x + x
-15 < 3x
Now divide the above equation by 3 to get the value of “x”,
(-15 / 3) < x
-5 < x
Or x > -5
