Question 515568: How do you solve 3-6n-4<17

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3 - 6n - 4 < 17
-1 - 6n < 17 {combined like terms}
-6n < 18 {added 1 to both sides}
n > -3 {divided both sides by -6 and changed the inequality sign}

Whenever you multiply or divide both sides of an inequality by a negative
number, you have to change the inequality sign.
