You can put this solution on YOUR website! Those are inequalities, not equations. Equations have = signs.
For the first one, x+4 < 2, subtract 4 from both sides, x < -2.
For the second one, subtract 3 from both sides to obtain 3x < 3, then divide both sides by 3 to get x < 1 as your solution set.
