Graph the solution set of the give system of inequalities here they are +%28x%5E2%2F9%29-%28y%5E2%2F16%29%3E=1+ and +x%5E2%2By%5E2%3C=36+
The 1st is a hyperbola with its center at (0,0),
opening to the right and to the left.
(0,0) does not satisfy the inequality so the solution
set is on the hyperbola and "inside" the lobes of the
hyperbola.
The 2nd is a circle with center at (0,0) and with a
radius of 6.
(0,0) does satisfy the inequality so the solution
set is all the points inside and on the circle.
