You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Please help me solve this and express the answer in interval notation:
[(x-5)(x+6)]/(x-3))> = 0
========
The left side is zero when x = -6 and when x =5
-------
x = 3 is a value x cannot have as it gives a zero denominator.
-------
Draw a number line and plot x = -6, x = 3, and x = 5
-------
Check a value from each of the intervals to find inequality solution intervals.
----------------------------------
Check x = -10; you get [-*-/-] > 0 ; false
---
Check x = 0; you get [-*+/-]> 0 ; true so solutions in [-6,3)
---
Check x = 4; you get [-*+/+]>0 ; false
-------
Solution: [-6,3)
