You can put this solution on YOUR website!
–x + 3 > 7.
------------------
Subtract 3 from both sides to get:
-x > 4
----
Multiply both sides by -1.
Remember that the inequality reverses when you
multiply or divide by a negative.
x < -4

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
–x + 3 > 7 First, subtract over your 3 to both sides
-x+3(-3)>7(-3) This cancels your +3
-x>4 Then, to get rid of the negative, you can either divide both sides by negative one or multiply both sides by negative one. But be careful. When you multiply or divide an innequality by a negative number, you have to remember to flip your sign.
(-1)(-x)>(4)(-1) This cancels your negative
x<-4
