You can put this solution on YOUR website!

%281%2F3%29x-2%3C=%282%2F3%29x-6 Start with the given inequality.

Multiply EVERY term by the LCD 3 to clear any fractions.

x-6%3C=2x-18 Distribute and multiply.

x%3C=2x-18%2B6 Add 6 to both sides.

x-2x%3C=-18%2B6 Subtract 2x from both sides.

-x%3C=-18%2B6 Combine like terms on the left side.

-x%3C=-12 Combine like terms on the right side.

x%3E=%28-12%29%2F%28-1%29 Divide both sides by -1 to isolate x. note: Remember, the inequality sign flips when we divide both sides by a negative number.

x%3E=12 Reduce.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Answer:

So the solution is x%3E=12
