-6x%3C4x-8 Subtract 8 from both sides.


-6x-4x%3C-8 Subtract 4x from both sides.


-10x%3C-8 Combine like terms on the left side.


x%3E%28-8%29%2F%28-10%29 Divide both sides by -10 to isolate x. note: Remember, the inequality sign flips when we divide both sides by a negative number.
