You can put this solution on YOUR website! Do it as two inequalities
-1 < 3-2x
and
3 - 2x < 5
Doing the 1st inequality,
-1 < 3 - 2x
2x < 4
x < 2

Doing the 2nd inequality,
3 - 2x < 5
-2x < 2
2x > 2 (when you mulitply, or divide, by a minus number, then you have to change the direction of the inequality symbol)
x > 1

Combing the two inequality results, x < 2 and x > 1, we get
1 < x < 2
