You can put this solution on YOUR website!
t+14>8 SUBTRACT 14 FROM BOTH SIDES.
T>8-14
T>-6 ANS.
PROOF:
LET T=-5
-5+14>8
9>8

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
to solve inequalities, just do it the same way you would if the greater than or less than sign was an equal sign, and at the end put the greater than or less than sign back in place.
so
t+14>8
can be solved by looking at it as though
t+14=8
so then you would have to get t alone, so subtract 14 from both sides of the equation to get
t=-6
and change the equal sign back to the greater than sign
t>-6
to test your answer, put something greater than -6, such as 2, back into the orignal problem and see if it holds true. so if t=2, then 2+14>8 would be true so you know your answer is correct
