Question 29452: Did I do this problem correctly?? I have to solve for y.
Ax + By + c = 0
-Ax -Ax=
By+ C = 0 - Ax
-C - C=
By = 0 - Ax - C=
divide by B on both sides and that will equal
y = 0 - Ax - C divided by B
I would love some help on this. Thanks.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You have it correctly worked out.
Solve for y:
Ax%2BBy%2BC+=+0 Subtract Ax from both sides.
By%2BC+=+-Ax Subtract C from both sides.
By+=+-Ax-C Finally, divide both sides by B
y+=+%28-Ax-C%29%2FB which is what you have.
