You can put this solution on YOUR website! This might be easier if you clear the fraction, and write it in standard form.
Multiply both sides of the equation by the denominator which is 2.

Add +24 to each side:
Life gets even easier if you see that you could divide each term in the equation by 3:
Now, you need three points, right?
Let x = 0, then -y = 8, so y = -8
Let y =0, then 4x=8, so x = 2
Let x = 1, then 4 -y = 8, so -y = 4, and y = -4.
That would be three solutions for this equation. There are LOTS more, so if you used different numbers you would come up with different solutions, all correct (if you did the math right!).
