You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Solve the inequality:
-1/3(n+8)+1/3n<_ 1-n
:
Assume the problems is:
%28-1%2F3%29%28n%2B8%29+%2B+%281%2F3%29n <= 1 - n
:
Multiply by 3 to get rid of the denominators:
-(n + 8) + n <= 3(1 - n)
:
Remove brackets
-n - 8 + n <= 3 - 3n
-8 <= 3 - 3n
Subtract 3 from both sides
-8 -3 <= -3n
-11 <= -3n
Multiply by -1 to get rid of the negatives, this reverses the the inequality sign
11 >= 3n
or
3n <= 11
divide both sides by 3
n <= 11%2F3
