.

The answer is  -12 < X < 12,  or in the interval form,  (-12,12).

What does it mean  " what is the answer "  in your post ?

Should I understand it in a way,  that you don't want explanations,  at all ?

Is my understanding correct that your work is checking answers in somebody's textbook ?

Or filling some answers boxes in somebodies' web-site without understanding ?

I am asking to better understand your needs . . .

Factor the given quadratic expression:

x%5E2-144%3C0 --> %28x-12%29%28x%2B12%29%3C0

The expression is EQUAL to 0 only at x=12 and x=-12. Since the graph of the quadratic expression is an upward-opening parabola, the interval on which the expression is less than 0 is between x=-12 and x=12.

ANSWER: (-12,12)
